Central Grizzlies Youth Football and Cheer was established in 2018 and is an non-profit, youth tackle football and cheer program located in Central Unified School District in Fresno, Ca.
The Central Grizzlies Youth Football and Cheer program is a proud participant of the GOD-YFL!!
The GOD-YFL is a league consisting of 9 teams within the Clovis, Fresno, Sanger, Dinuba, and Madera area.
Championship appearances: 2020 (Seniors), 2021 (Peewees), 2022 (Peewees), 2023 (Peewees & Juniors), 2025 (Peewees & Seniors)
Central Grizzlies Youth Football’s mission is to build leaders by promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, character development, and community fellowship through cheer and football participation in both practice and game day settings.
· Provide instruction on football fundamental skills with an emphasis on proper, safe instruction for grades K-6.
· Create opportunities for all participants to develop their knowledge of the game and improve their skill levels throughout the course of the season.
· Develop leaders of tomorrow by teaching lessons of dedication, compassion, honest effort, and fair play.
· Maintain and encourage a continual emphasis on academics during the season and throughout the entire school year.
· Build and maintain a sense of community within the organization and across the Central Valley.
· Achieve high levels of parental involvement in all aspects of the organization.
· All instruction to be offered on volunteer basis.
